Sugar and Spice Photography vs Nicole Henriques Photography

As I am busing editing quite a few shoots and as these are ready to be delivered to my clients, they too are ready to be show cased. As you may have noticed, I am tagging some images with the Nicole Henriques Photography logo, that is because I am rebranding. I am changing the name of Sugar and Spice Photography to Nicole Henriques Photography. All things will stay the same with me behind the lens.

For the meantime I will still post and blog under Sugar and Spice Photography as I would like to launch my site only once it is complete. I trust that you will take this journey with me and continue to show me your support, as without all of you my business is nothing.

Part 2: Sophia at 6 months, captured in her nursery

Part 1: Images of Sophia at 6 months. Captured in her nursery

Nicole (Sophia's mom) contacted me and requested I capture images of her darling little baby girl. As Nicole stated in her email, they have not yet had professional photos taken of Sophia only the 'happy snappy' shots. In my opinion these are awesome as well and there are so many apps that allow you to do some stunning things with those images...but that's for another day.

So on Saturday, 21 April I set off to go and capture images of this little darling. As Nicole and I discussed we would keep the shoot natural, no props and stuff and we would use Sophia's nursery as a backdrop. There is so much detail in her nursery, it was perfect for this shoot. This was a wonderful decision as Sophia was relaxed and bubbly as well . *High five, Nicole!

There are quite a number of images I would like to share so I am adding them in a 2 part blog.

Thank you Nicole and Charles for entrusting me to capture on camera, this precious stage of Sophia's life.

LOVE IN BLACK AND WHITE

I have known Ernil and Chantal for a few years. Chantal approached me and asked that I capture images for their engagement shoot. However, it was an engagement shoot with a difference. The images would serve as table numbers at their wedding. 

The color scheme of the wedding was black and white and hence the images were printed in black and white. It was hard to keep my excitement and not share these, because they are totally AWESOME, but I had to keep the surprise. 

Well now the wedding is over and here are the images. Enjoy!
